- We will design a workshop for your activist community,
teaching you how to create giant puppets, masks and props for use at
community events, demonstrations and actions. Our workshops provide
a gathering place for people to develop powerful visual metaphors describing
their issues and to take creative action. The process of artistic collaboration
solidifies community bonds and empowers individual self-expression.
The giant images created as a community effort, act as media magnets
for the vital issues which you and your community address.
- STILTWALKING
- This program is designed to promote confidence and self-determination
through the experience of being larger-than-life. In a culture where
so many of us are disappeared, stiltwalking gives us a chance to be
seen. For teens and adults.
- CONSULTING
- Wise Fool members work with you to increase the visibility to your
event through the addition of striking imagery and/or theatrical elements
that cannot be ignored. We will also work with you to design hands-on
arts workshops for your community or develop imagery which addresses
your pertinent issues with humor and satire.
- ENTERTAINERS FOR HIRE!
- Wise Fool's giant puppets and stiltwalking characters are available for hire at your community event. We can create a procession or act as roving characters interacting with event guests to create a lively and fantastic atmosphere.
